Swanage - an Olde Worlde town with great character

Swanage is a lovely old-style town but has plenty to offer both family and couples.

Enjoy a walk along the seafront, up onto Ballard Down to the east or to Durlston Country Park to the west - soon to be the the eastern visitor centre of the Jurassic Coast.

Walking, cycling and touring options are plentiful from Swanage.

There are many good pubs and restaurant and well as gardens and play areas. Also, cruises can be taken along the Coast from here.

Just outside of the town is Studland, Corfe Castle, Wareham, Worth Matravers and Kingston, to name just a few. A bus service to Poole and Bournemouth takes you across the entrance to Poole Harbour via the Sandbanks ferry and opens up many other opportunities for you to enjoy.
