you will come to another gate and straight-on signs to Steeple. Turn left before the

Go straight on along the road for about 50 metres and turn left through a single gate.
Follow the grassy incline down to the edge of the woods (300 metres), then follow the
path up through the woods to a stile at the top.
At this point, to follow the walk you need to bear right but it is worth bearing slightly
left to go to the Trig point to see the views and information.
From the stile, bear right, or from the Trig point, 90 degrees right and follow the track
down to the single and field gate at the road. After about 20 metres, on the left-hand
side of the road, go through the gate marked ‘Steeple 1 3/4’. Go around the small
reservoir site, keeping it to your right, over the stile, and follow the path down to your
left
Follow the path along while it continues in the same direction (2/3 mile). At this
point, on the left will be a stile (to Steeple) but turn sharp right up the hill (1/3 mile)
to the gate at the top. Go through the gate and proceed straight ahead back to the car.
