A really pleasant 2 ½ mile walk from the Moonfleet Manor Hotel and along the edge of The Fleet with views of Chesil Beach and Portland.

The detailed walk is below and also here in PDF format if you wish to print:-
Walk details:-
Hopefully, you will be using the hotel so park in the hotel car park. If you are not, park safely on the approach road where you can and about 100 metres before the hotel take the path to the left, go down to meet the coast path and turn right in front of the hotel.
From the hotel car park, go through the gate to left of the hotel, go across the lawn to the path behind the hedge and follow the path out of the hotel onto the coast path.
Follow the coastal path for ½ mile until you meet a finger sign to the right for ‘West Fleet campsite ½’. This will be your return junction – but not before you visit the Slipway.
Carry on for another 100 metres until you meet a 3-way junction. Langton Herring will be signposted straight ahead but you want to turn left towards Abbotsbury over the wooden bridge.
Follow the path along the side of the Fleet to the slipway (½ mile) with the impressive Coastguard cottages to the right.
There are options here to extend the walk at this stage but on this documented walk, turn back along the path to the junction to West Fleet Campsite and turn left up through the field.
At the top of the field (¼ mile) turn left for ¼ mile, right through the gate posts and immediately left down to the coast path and left again back to the hotel.
