This is a very difficult 32 mile walk from the Jubilee Tower on Weymouth sea front to Swanage. It has a total of approximately 3000 metres of ascent and descent along the path. Please visit Doddle Review for more details.
It should not be attempted unless you are very fit or an experienced walker. For less strenuous walks, vist the Full Walk List on the site.
However, it is a classic walk and taking 2 or 3 days to complete it may be a good idea to suit your fitness or enthiusiasm!
The route is to simply follow the coastal path but do take a map as there are some variations that can be taken if required, The official Dorset Doddle is hosted by the Long Distance Walkers Association (LDWA) and is usually held on the Sunday prior to the August Bank Holiday weekend. Please visit the LDWA site for confirmation of dates.
